This innovative technique employs 2mm and 3mm incisions/ tools, allowing us to perform surgery with significantly less pain, improved cosmetic results, and faster recovery compared to traditional 5mm or 10mm laparoscopic methods.
2mm and 3mm incisions resulting in negligible scarring and significantly less pain that conventional laparoscopy. Majority of patients only require paracetamol and anti-inflammatories post-operatively.
Patients can expect to return home on the same day, with many resuming work and exercise within a few days to a week after surgery.
Not only is it a great diagnostic tool, but micro-laparoscopy can also be used to treat a wide variety of gynaecological conditions including mild endometriosis, pelvic adhesions and tubal sterilisation.
